Year 6 Market Day is Coming!
Our First Ever Market Day!
Year 6 are excited to host St Clare’s very first Market Day, a fun way to put their learning in HASS into action! Students from Kinder to Year 5 will enjoy carnival-style stalls run by Year 6, with all profits going to charity. Tickets will be on sale soon, keep an eye out for details on how to grab yours!
On Thursday the 25th of September, Week 10, Year 6 will be hosting our school’s very first Market Day! This exciting event is the culmination of our HASS unit on Economics and Business, where students have been learning about consumer choices, financial decisions, and how businesses operate.
Working in small groups, Year 6 students are designing and running fun carnival-style stalls that younger students (Kinder–Year 5) will be able to enjoy. From lucky dips to games of skill, there will be something for everyone!
Market Day is not only about learning, it’s also about living our faith in action. In line with our Religious Education focus on service and compassion, all money raised will be donated to charity. This reminds us that while we enjoy the fun, we are also helping others in need.
🎟️ Tickets
To take part in Market Day, students will need to purchase Market Day tickets. Tickets will go on sale soon and can be purchased through CompassTix. On the day, students will use tickets at stalls instead of money, making the event safe and easy to manage.
Ticket bundles will be available as follows:
· $2 for 5 tickets
· $4 for 10 tickets
· $6 for 15 tickets
· $8 for 20 tickets
Tickets must be purchased by Monday the 22nd of September, so we can distribute them to classes before Market Day.
Thank you in advance for supporting our Year 6 students as they bring their HASS learning to life and give back to those in need. If you have any questions, please email Cherie.ruzvidzo@cg.catholic.edu.au

Canteen Volunteers Needed!
The school canteen is managed by our dedicated canteen manager with the invaluable support of parent volunteers. Volunteering in the canteen is a fantastic opportunity to become more involved in the school community, meet other parents, and contribute to a positive school environment. Parents are welcome to bring along younger children, and a designated playroom is available to keep them entertained during your shift.
If you're interested in volunteering, please complete the form via the link below.
